This is from Jade, one of our Canadian fans for peace: "I'm wearing Fans For Peace Gear....I'm putting bumper stickers such as 'Resist' on my car...I'm reading Adbusters....I'm sure as hell not buying anything from Nike or the Gap...I'm explaining to my friends why the 'War on Iraq' was an unjustified farce...I'm thinking outside the box." Rock on, Jade!!

Allison had a seat behind the stage at the LA show on April 9th, and "held this banner up every single time the lights came on over" - so all the fans in the front got to see it!

When Bush spoke at the Coast Guard Academy graduation on May 21st, Myshele went down to carry a Peace flag and "Impeach Bush" sign, wearing a Fans For Peace t-shirt, of course. We were not allowed near the speech, but we watched the Presidential motorcade drive by, and were interviewed by local news media.

Myshele also goes to rallies regularly, covers her car with political stickers, talks to strangers and friends about world events, and will be getting a master's degree at the Centre for Human Ecology in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Cindy made this rockin' banner and brought it to the Vegas show, April 19th! She sent it backstage with a security guard, and it was hung on the side of the stage during the show! It's displayed here by the WOG Goo Bunnies - Kris, Julie, Amy, Cindy, Kim, Kelly, Laurie, and Rio. (photo by Laurie)

Trish made this fantastic banner and drove across international borders (from Canada) to make sure the Goos could see it! She "held it up with pride" at the Seattle show, April 15th! (2003)

Chelsea went to a war protest on her town square that was organized by some kids at her school. "It was awesome, people would yell at us or give us the finger from their cars, and we would give them a peace sign and wave our signs around back at them."

Sarah went to a protest called "Baring Witness" (baringwitness.org) in Dallas, TX. "What we did was strip down to our bare skin, and then laid out on a hillside to form the word "peace", and then it was photographed from a helicopter. It's not a "goo goo dolls fans for peace" thing, but the reason i did it was for the goos."

Sarah also wrote a great peace song, which is on the lyrics page.

Vicki is talking to her teenage children and their friends to let them know that it is okay to not believe in war. She says, "there are other alternatives and peace is the ultimate goal! We each have a voice and we can use it. The US is a free country and it is our constitutional right to speak our mind and just because you don't agree with the masses does not make you wrong. Fight for what you believe in."

Mo is making a peace-mobile with Goo Goo Dolls stickers, Goo banners, peace signs etc.... She says, "remember, if you want to make a peace-mobile, don't cover your car to the point where you're obstructing the driver's view!"

Diane is planning a Peace On Earth Concert and has built an informative interactive site.  Check it out at peaceonearthconcert.org She also went to the Feb. 15th demonstrations in NYC!
