For Peace! Damn, you guys are everywhere! Thank you!"
He then turned the panties around and read the front - "The
only Bush I trust is my own!" Laughing, he said, "that's
awesome! I love that! Now I have to find a politically progressive
woman to wear them. And she has to be a size small."
Before starting the next song, he said, "now remember
ladies, the only Bush you can trust is your own! Damn, that's
cool." After the show, Greg and Jason flashed some

8.20.03 Interview (Buffalo
News)
thank-you Angela for asking this question!!
You have spoken out on so many issues in the past, especially
after September 11th, you always seemed to be putting your
opinions right out there. What do you think the most important
issue is right now, and what can your fans do to help?
Robby: Right now, I really think that people should pay
really really close attention to what the government’s doing
with the rest of the world. Um… I think it’s everyone’s
duty to pay attention to the reactions of others to the
steps our government’s taking. I think our foreign policy’s
pretty messed up. I think people need to get involved in
the process of choosing people who will fix this problem.

& Autograph Session
Robby and John both flashed peace signs throughout the show,
and pointed, smiled, and waved at the Fans For Peace in
the audience! At the last minute, they switched their setlist
to include What A Scene to make a political statement, and
stuck with it when they were hassled by the NBC people.
Go Goos! During the autograph session, John said "you
guys are awesome!" and Robby and Mike agreed. John
also said that the Fans For Peace Book Club was "cool!"
They appreciated their gift bags and the fans for peace
collage, and flashed peace signs to us on their way out
of the building.
